If you are walking in the area, or visiting the George at Burpham (our pub), feel free to park in the pub car park. Drive past the pub entrance and the car park is on your left.
If the car park is full there is space for a few cars in a triangular patch of ground with pine trees. This is outside one of the exits to the church. Drive away from the pub, turn left and then immediately right. Locals call these trees the 'Seven Sisters'.
If you park in the village, please take care not to block any of the narrow village roads, as they may be needed for the emergency services.
At the entrance to the pub car park is an informative map of the area.
WALKING AND CYCLING
This is glorious country for walking and cycling. You can reach the South Downs Way in about an hour's walking, give or take. If you need ideas, take a look at https://www.southdowns.gov.uk/enjoy/walking/
